Analog Integrated Circuit Design Internship
We are looking for an intern in analog integrated circuit design, whose main mission will be to design a circuit and layout of a low power, compact 10 bit SAR ADC in a 0.13um BCD-MOS technology.
Throughout your internship, you will be mentored by an experienced engineer and will regularly collaborate with part of our Design team based in Ottawa.
The internship will take place at our Grenoble offices, where your main responsibilities will include:
· Reviewing the existing scientific literature on this topic
· Behavioral modeling and mismatch modeling
· Schematic design and simulations
· Layout and post-extraction simulations
· Report and presentation for defense
Desired Profile:
You are about to graduate with a Master’s degree in Electronics and have already completed internships in a professional environment. You do not necessarily need previous experience in electronic design, but you are eager to discover this activity.
Technical skills:
· Knowledge of analog integrated circuit design and layout
· Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso
· Basic understanding of noise and distortion phenomena
· Basic programming skills (e.g., Python)
· Some familiarity with Hardware Description Languages (HDL): Verilog, VHDL, Verilog-A
Curiosity, proactivity, and motivation to work within multidisciplinary teams are essential. Good communication skills and fluency in English (written, reading, and spoken – minimum B2) are also required.
